The team was back at it again after only a 3 day break.   Again they were victorious, by a 3-1 score today.   They continue to be in 1st place, atop the league table.

Janelle was the Bronze Medal player of the game today.

The unbeaten season continued at home on 8/7/13, with a hard fought 1-0 victory.  The lone goal scored during the stoppage time at the end of the game.

Well, dad got behind on game recaps again.  After the long break in the season during July, they played 4 games in the first 2 weeks of August.  Unfortunately, I can’t get to articles for some of the games from early August.

On August 3, the team came away with a 3-2 victory away from home, to continue their unbeaten season.

Well, dad has not been keeping up with the game results very well this season.  Here is an attempt to bring the season up to date….

The team just played their first game on July 27, after a long break in the season schedule.  They were victorious over the 1st place team, allowing them to leapfrog back into 1st place.  They have a one point lead over the 2nd place team, but have played 2 less games than they have.  Janelle scored the 2nd goal of the game, when her corner kick when directly into the net.

Janelle’s team continued their excellent start to the 2013 season with a 2-0 home victory today.  So far they are 6-0-0 and sit atop the league table with 18 points.

Aland United continued their early season success with a 6-1 road victory today.  They currently sit atop the league table with a 5-0-0 record, for 15 points.

Below is a link to a video showing the scoring highlights.  Janelle doesn’t score any goals, but she was directly involved in the 3rd and 5th goals of the game.

Playing the 2nd game of their stretch of 3 games in 8 days, Aland United was victorious in their match with the defending league champs, coming away with a 2-0 road victory.  This win coupled with another top team’s loss, puts Aland United at the top of the league table.  Next game is on 4/21.

After a weekend off, Aland United begins a busy stretch of 3 games in 8 days, with a 10 -0 victory.  Janelle scored two goals today, tallying the first and last goals of the game.  After 3 games they are still tied with 2 other teams for first place in the league.  They will play one of the other front runners in the next game on 4/17/13.

Aland United played their home opener for 2013 today, and was victorious by a final score of 7-0.   After 2 games they are tied for first place with 2 other teams with 6 points each.

Aland United played their first game of the 2013 season this past Saturday, and were victorious 3-1.   Their second goal was scored off of one of Janelle’s corner kicks.
