---|---|
1 pound Oreo Cookies (3 sleeves) | 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract | 1 pound milk chocolate |
1/2 pound white chocolate (optional) | --- |
Using a food processor, grind Oreo cookies to a fine powder.
With a mixer, blend cookie powder, cream cheese, and vanilla extract until thoroughly mixed (there should be no white traces of cream cheese).
Roll into small balls and place on a wax paper lined cookie sheet and refrigerate for 45 minutes.
Line two cookie sheets with wax paper.
In a double boiler, melt the milk chocolate.
Dip balls and coat thoroughly. Then with a slotted spoon, lift out of the chocolate and let excess chocolate drip back into the double boiler.
Place on the wax paper lined cookie sheet.
(Optional) In a separate double boiler, melt the white chocolate. Using a fork, drizzle the white chocolate over the coated balls.
Let cool, then store in an air tight container in the refrigerator.
