| 1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened | 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened |
| 1 egg | 1/4 teaspoon vanilla |
| 1 package Betty Crocker® strawberry 'n cream cake mix | 1/2 cup chopped nuts, if desired |
Heat Oven to 375 degrees. Cream butter and cheese until light and fluffy. Beat in egg, vanilla and half the cake mix (dry) until smooth. Stir in remaining cake mix and the nuts.
Drop dough by teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Cool slightly before removing from baking sheet.
Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
