Julie's Chicken and Dumplings

1 Chicken Bouillon Cubes - at least 12
3 to 4 Cups Flour 3 to 4 Cups Bisquick
Pepper 1 - 2 cans Chicken Bouillon (optional)

Fill a large pan 1/2 full of water and add 12 bouillon cubes.  Place the chicken into the pan, making sure that the chicken is covered by water.  Add pepper as desired.  Bring to a boil then let simmer for 2 to 3 hours. OR, If using a pressure cooker, cook for 20 minutes after pan has started to jiggle, then cool

Remove the chicken from the broth and set it aside to cool.  Add a few more bouillon cubes, if desired, for more flavor.

Mix 3 to 4 cups of flour with 3 to 4 cups of Bisquick.  Add broth to the mixture until the dough is soft.  Dust with flour and knead the dough 6 to 10 times.  Break off small pieces of the dough about 1/4 inch thick, and drop into the boiling broth.  (You could also roll the dough out, and cut into 1" squares using a pizza cutter if desired.)  After all the dough has been dropped into the pan, turn down to simmer.  Remove the chicken from the bone and drop into the pan with the dumplings.  More pepper and 1 or 2 cans of chicken bouillon may be added if desired.  Once all the chicken is added to the pan, cook for 5 more minutes.

Remove from heat and serve.
