|1 cup Butter||8 oz Cream Cheese|
|3 cups Flour||---|
Blend butter and cream cheese then add flour and blend with pastry blender. Separate out 1 and 1/4 cups of this mixture to be used to make the topping. Put the rest of the mixture into a 9 x 13 pan. Pat into the bottom of the pan and up the sides of the pan.
|1 1/4 cup crust mixture from above step||3/4 cup Sugar|
|1/2 cup Flour||---|
Blend all topping ingredients together with pastry blender until crumbly.
|9 cups Blackberries||2 cups Sugar|
|1 tablespoon Vanilla (optional)||---|
Pour blackberries into the crust in 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle sugar over blackberries. Pour vanilla over blackberries. Sprinkle topping over blackberries.
Bake at 350 degrees until filling is bubbly and the topping is brown. Bake time is approximately 1 hour.
